Jeff Olson is an avid shutterbug. His background is in the graphic arts and visual arts and he has had drawings included in two gallery showings. Now his camera is never very far from his hand in the never ending attempt to record those same artistic elements in the world around him.

Jeff is married with two teenage sons. He lives in Portland, Oregon with a cat  and dog. He gardens extensively and prefers being outside to being inside. He is fascinated with many of the graphics programs available and the possibilities they provide for anyone wanting to create or alter an image.

Jeff's been taking pictures seriously since 2002, although he has always enjoyed the art. An art student, he understands that beauty can be found everywhere. His other artistic loves include carving wood, molding clay, and drawing.
